Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility which is run by Nassau County. A. Holly Patterson ECF is on 75 acres of land, was established in 1967 and can accommodate up to 889 people. Full medical support is given by Nassau County Medical University.<\/p>\n<p>New Jersey Korean Long Term Care (Director Jinna Kim) in Bergen Regional Medical Center, which opened a nursing home exclusively for Koreans, held a briefing session on the 12th by inviting officials from Korean health and senior citizens&#8217; organizations. The presentation was attended by 20 health care group community leaders, which included Korean Community Services (KCS) Chairman Kwang-Seok Kim, Flushing Senior Citizens Center Chairman Hyung-Bin Lim, New York District Evergreen Group Chairman Seong-Wook Jeong.<\/p>\n<p>Director Kim said &#8220;The capacity for New York Korean Long Term Care program is for 300 residents in the form of hospital style rooms with approximately 20 Korean medical team members and non medical team members to provide services. Korean food, cable TV and recreation programs will be provided to be a culturally based program.<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility for admission consists for those with Medicaid, Medicare (short term rehab), Long Term Care insurance or other individual insurance plans that cover stay at a skilled facility. All persons interested in admission to the facility need to go through the screening process.
